Our PolycarbonateX PVC Top Cap & Aluminium Base Glazing Bars with End Cap are designed to securely join and support multiwall polycarbonate roofing sheets while creating a strong, weatherproof and professional finish.

Manufactured with a durable aluminium base and a PVC snap-fit top cap, these glazing bars provide excellent strength while allowing for the natural expansion and contraction of polycarbonate sheets during temperature changes.

Suitable for both DIY and professional installations, they are ideal for pergolas, canopies, verandas, lean-to roofs, carports, covered walkways and many other glazing applications.

Each glazing bar is supplied complete with an end cap, providing a neat finished appearance and helping to protect the system after installation.

What's Included?

Each glazing bar includes:

• Aluminium base section

• PVC top cap

• End cap

Installation

The aluminium base is fixed securely to the supporting roof structure before the polycarbonate sheets are positioned on either side.

Once the sheets have been correctly aligned, the PVC top cap simply snaps into place, securing the sheets whilst allowing for normal thermal movement.

For the best results:

• Install sheets with the UV-protected face upwards.

• Always allow for thermal expansion.

• Use breather tape and end closures to seal sheet ends.

• Use compatible fixings where required.

• Ensure adequate roof pitch for water run-off.
